Annual Writing Scholarship Contest
The Spaces Between
Prompt Context:
Some of the most meaningful parts of our lives exist in the spaces between.
Between two cultures. Between childhood and adulthood. Between who others expect us to be and who we truly are. Between languages, identities, communities, traditions, homes, memories, or dreams.
The Spaces Between is an invitation to explore the moments, experiences, and relationships that have shaped you. Your piece does not have to be about immigration or culture—although it certainly can be. Instead, we encourage you to interpret the theme in whatever way feels most authentic to your own life and experiences.
We are looking for stories that are honest, reflective, and deeply personal.
