About Untold Pages
It started with a simple idea: understanding begins with listening.
Untold Pages began with the belief that some of the most meaningful stories are the ones we hear the least. Immigrant and first-generation students often face stereotypes, labels, and discrimination rooted in a lack of understanding of their cultures, identities, and experiences.
We created Untold Pages to help change that—a space where young people can explore their identities, write freely, and share their experiences in their own words. Through storytelling, we hope to replace assumptions with understanding, create connection across different communities, and remind every young writer that their story matters.

Founder & Executive Director
As a Palestinian-American who has lived and grown up across different cultures, Dana understands how deeply identity, family, and belonging shape the stories we carry. She founded Untold Pages to create a space where immigrant and first-generation students could explore those experiences through writing and feel that their voices were worth sharing. Through Untold Pages, Dana hopes to ensure that the stories too often left untold are given the space to be written, celebrated, and remembered.
Our Mission
To give young people the space, tools, and confidence to tell the stories only they can tell.
Through accessible creative writing programs, publication opportunities, scholarships, and mentorship, we work to amplify voices that have historically been overlooked and create opportunities for young people to be heard.
